I worked in advertising agencies until 2010, then I became a freelance art & creative director. This gave me the opportunity to start to do photojournalistic projects on the side and build a portfolio as a reportage photographer. My career as a photojournalist got a boost when one of my stories was awarded at the World Press Photo Award in 2016. Since then, I've been able to publish work in GEO, Die Zeit, NZZ, The Guardian and National Grograohic, among others, and travel to over 40 countries for my work.
